Why this verdict
An extremely potent contact allergen (active at very low ppm) naturally present in oakmoss/treemoss; PROHIBITED via Reg 2017/1410.
What It Is
The most potent allergen inside oakmoss - banned outright.
Sensitises skin at exceptionally low levels - lower than almost any other fragrance allergen - which is why the EU banned it. Legal oakmoss must now have it stripped out (see Oakmoss extract).
